Fiji drifting leaderless, says Tikoduadua National Federation Party president Pio Tikoduadua says this is not a time for Fiji to be drifting and leaderless.

In a statement, Tikoduadua said the country needs leadership and direction at this critical time when it is faced with two major crises.

He said Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama's has been no show as the country battles coronavirus and widespread flooding in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Cody.

“The questions that I would like to ask are is he in the country or abroad and why do the people of Fiji not know where their prime minister is,” he said.

“Other questions that I would like to ask our Prime Minister are; who is in charge, why are we being left to speculate and when will the government speak.

“We have heard nothing from him for days. We are facing a major coronavirus crisis and the aftermath of serious flooding and other damage caused,” he said.

Tikoduadua said this was a time for leadership and action.
