Duru's comment comes after the former provisional candidate lodged a complaint against him for swearing at him. Duru told FijiLive that he did not swore at him and will be lodging a complaint against Tuiteci for threatening him. "I did not swear at him as claimed by the former provisional candidate. He threatened me and I am lodging a police complaint today," he said. "He was detrimental to our campaign strategy employing the recruit, retain and reclaim. We apologise to the Turaga Tui Cakau, the People of Cakaudrove and the Tovata Confederacy. “Also, to the people of Lau, chiefly household and the people of Bau and families and friends of those that were the brunt of Tuiteci's cyber-attacks. "Those views he expressed were his alone and in no way represents the party. We are focused on delivering policies that are designed to meet the needs of all of our Fijian people," he said. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said Tuiteci lodged a complaint against the Social Democratic Liberal Party secretary general at the Totogo Police Station. "The complainant, a former member of the same party alleged that the suspect swore at him during a Party meeting last Wednesday at their head office in Suva," Naisoro said. "The victim also alleged that the suspect threatened him that he wouldn’t sign his nomination form," she said. She said an investigation is underway in the complaint lodged the former provisional candidate of the Social Democratic Liberal Party. By Nacanieli Tuilevuka
