Big turnout at Govt Thanksgiving Service

Vodafone Arena in Suva was packed this afternoon for the Coalition Government’s Thanksgiving Service.

Party supporters and well wishers, Members of Parliament, Ministers, members of the business sector as well as community and faith group leaders filled up the venue to pray for and honour members of the new Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica while welcoming the big audience said the event is a testament to God’s goodness and faithfulness and also a time to thank God for taking the three political parties on a journey that was filled with obstacles but they managed to overcome all of them and obtain victory.

He also thanked the Youths of People’s Alliance, National Federation Party and Social Democratic Liberal Party for organising today’s function.

Methodist Church Minister, Reverend Isireli Kacimaiwai and President of the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma, Reverend Ili Vunisuwai conducted the prayer sessions.
