2 arrested in separate drug raids in North

Two men are in Police custody following separate drug raids in the Northern Division.

According to Police, the first suspect, a 30-year-old farmer of Naweni was arrested in Labasa Town after he was found with several small bags containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

The second suspect, a 25-year-old farmer from Seaqaqa was arrested after he was allegedly found with marijuana seeds and upon further questioning revealed where his farm was located.

All substances seized have been sent for analysis.
