Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Filimoni Vosarogo has assured his staff that no one should fear losing his or her job.
Vosarogo made this comment while addressing staff in the Northern Office, yesterday.
“You are part of the Ministry, that you have a central role and very crucial to the work that the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources does.”
“I urge you to not work in fear of me or the Government, but to persevere in the work that you do and to continue to grow professionally.”
Vosarogo also highlighted that part of the Government’s policy was extending the retirement age from 55 to 60 years.
“You are a part of Government, of the civil service, and as civil servants you would be required to continue to meet the challenges that the civil service has to deliver the key deliverables of the Ministry.”
Vosarogo will continue his visit of the North today.
