Opposition Member of Parliament Rosy Akbar has resigned.
It is understood she resigned due to health reasons.
She however will remain a member of the FijiFirst Party.
Former Government MP Virendra Lal will replace Akbar in Parliament.
Meanwhile, the Fijian Elections Office is yet to confirm Akbar’s resignation.
