Former Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem is currently being questioned at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters in Suva.
Chief of Intelligence, Investigations and Prosecutions Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Sakeo Raikaci confirms that Saneem is being questioned in regards to a report lodged by Acting Supervisor of Elections Ana Mataciwa last month.
Saneem is facing allegations of abuse of office and the use of forged documents.
