Oceania 7s draws confirmed

The draws for both the men’s and women’s competition of the 2023 Oceania Rugby 7s Championship has been confirmed.

The three-day tournament starting on November 10 will feature 25 teams, 15 men’s and 10 women’s teams from 14 countries in the region.

Ben Gollings coached Fiji is drawn in a tough International Pool A with arch-rivals New Zealand, host nation Australia, Niue and Oceania.

Olympic Qualifier Pool B consists of Samoa, Solomon Islands, American Samoa and Tuvalu.

Tonga, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Kiribati and Nauru will compete in Olympic Qualifier Pool C.

Meanwhile, Saiasi Fuli coached Fijiana are drawn in the women’s Olympic Qualifier Pool B with Tonga, Cook Islands and American Samoa.

The International Pool A consists of New Zealand women’s Development 7s and host national Australia.

Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands and Nauru will battle in the Olympic Qualifier Pool C.
