People’s Alliance, NFP remain hopeful

The People’s Alliance and National Federation Party are optimistic of forming the next Government with the Social Democratic Liberal Party.

The two parties together with their negotiation teams met in Suva this morning to further discuss their proposals to SODELPA.

While the leaders met behind closed doors, supporters and candidates of both parties were spotted outside the meeting venue.

Those present included NFP President Pio Tikoduadua, General Secretary Seni Nabou and People’s Alliance Deputy Leader Lynda Tabuya.

Rabuka and Prasad are expected to hold a media conference this afternoon to elaborate on their meeting and the latest developments with SODELPA.
