PM yet to move into official residence

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says he is not in any rush to move into the official Government residence and will give the current occupant time to relocate.

He said he will also wait for the Public Service Commission and the Lands Department to work on the allocation.

Rabuka also mentioned that he moved out of the Government quarters overnight in 1999 because he was prepared, either way, to win and continue or to lose and move on.

The veteran politician was elected as Fiji’s Prime Minister by the Parliament on 24 December after defeating Voreqe Bainimarama by a single vote.
