President visits children in orphanages

His Excellency, the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has encouraged children living in orphanages not to lose hope and to face challenges life has to offer.

Ratu Wiliame highlighted this during his visit to the Dilkusha Home in Nausori, Saint Christopher’s Home, the Homes of Hope in Wailoku, Saint Philomena Home in Nailuva and the Frank Hilton Organisation Hostel in Suva.

“There will always be challenges, but if we look at it as a mystery and with the faith that we have, we will excel to be the best.

“Education is the key and with the support of the Christian denominations that run the home, the children will also get the best that is there to offer.”

Ratu Wiliame also encourages relatives of children in the homes and at the Frank Hilton Organisation to have a heart for their relatives at the hostel and visit them.
