Provisional results put on hold

The Fijian Elections Office has temporarily put the provisional results which were announced earlier on hold.

The FEO in a statement said they are having some issues with the results App and are working to resolve this.

The last provisional result released had the People’s Alliance Party leading the race with 32,955 votes while FijiFirst had 18,468 votes and the National Federation Party had 5,850 votes.

The Social Democratic Liberal Party had 5,676 votes, Unity Fiji had 3,850 votes, We Unite Fiji Party had 2,056 votes, The New Generation Party had 743 votes, and All Peoples Party had managed to rake in 599 votes.

In terms of results by candidates, People’s Alliance candidate Peceli Vosanibola was leading the tally with 15,127 votes and FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama had 9654 votes while People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka had 5978 votes.
