Radrodro didn’t do any wrong: SODELPA Board

One month after the axing of Aseri Radrodro from Cabinet, the Social Democratic Liberal Party Management Board still maintains that there was no foul play in Radrodro’s decision that constituted insubordination and disobedience of the Prime Minister’s directives.

Speaking to FijiLive, SODELPA General-Secretary Viliame Takayawa said the Management Board will write again for the second time to the Prime Minister to reinstate Radrodro back in Cabinet and to his former position as the Minister for Education.

Takayawa said: “It was passed today (Friday) that there was nothing wrong or there was no wrongdoing seen that should have resulted in the removal of Radrodro.”

“It is already one month since Radrodro’s removal from his position and we are just concentrating on what the people are going through and require.”

Rabuka while terminating Radrodro had stated that the Constitution guides his action and he remains committed to upholding its principles.

He had mentioned that Section 95 of the Constitution is very clear on the powers of the Prime Minister to appoint and dismiss Cabinet Ministers.
