REALB announces new board members

The Real Estate Agents Licensing Board has announced Dr Ilimotama Cawi as Chair and senior banker Caroline Waqabaca as Deputy Chair of the board.

In making the announcement, Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica said the appointment signals a strategic move towards a dynamic future for the real estate industry.

Nadi businessman King Anwar Hussain and senior economist Unise Druavesi have also been appointed as board members.

Kamikamica said the appointments came into effect on 21 August and their collective vision and dedication are expected to steer REALB towards fostering a thriving real estate sector that adheres to high standards of professionalism and integrity.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the contribution of outgoing board members, who have played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation and laying the groundwork for future leadership.

The Real Estate Agents Licensing Board looks forward to a period of innovation, collaboration, and advancement under the guidance of these new board members. As they take the reins, they do so with a commitment to excellence and a shared vision for a robust and ethical real estate industry.
