High Fibre Scones



Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Rub in the margarine/butter using your fingertips.

Add bean sprouts and cheese. Gradually add milk and mix slowly using a round bladed knife until the dough is soft.

Turn the dough into a floured surface and knead lightly.

Cut into squares or rounds, place on a greased baking tray and bake hot oven 220 degree celcius for 12-15 minutes.

Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
