Removal of ‘No Jab, No Job’ on Govt agenda

Attorney-General Siromi Turaga says the removal of the 2021 announced ‘No Jab, No Job’ policy is on Government’s agenda and will be further discussed and decided upon by cabinet.

The ‘No Jab, No Job’ policy ensures that all civil servants get vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19 vaccine and those that refuse to take the vaccine would lose their job.

Turaga said any change in law will come via the cabinet but decision will be reached in consultation with the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Health.

Removal of the policy was part of The People’s Alliance election campaign highlights.
