Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji has announced the appointment of new Italian Chef Manuel Fernando Agostino, for the resort’s renowned Golden Cowrie Coastal Italian Restaurant.
In a statement, Shangri-La Yanuca Island said Chef Manuel has vast experience in fine dining restaurants and luxury hotels
The statement said that he has worked in some prominent hotels and restaurants such as Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, Nobu Restaurant, La Môme Cannes, Cecconi’s Mayfair in London, and Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Switzerland to name a few.
“I am so fortunate to have been appointed to this position, and I am ready to take on the challenge.”
“This would be his first resort to work for in the Pacific and is ready to showcase Italian cuisine to Shangri-La’s guests from around the world,” he said.
Also, Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji’s General Manager; Francis Lee said that: “Manuel’s wealth of experience and culinary understanding will be of great benefit to the resort especially to Italian cuisine lovers.
Meanwhile, the Golden Cowrie Coastal Italian creates Italian feasts from the freshest produce the island has to offer.
While taking in the stunning views of the beautiful lagoon enjoy authentic traditional Italian dishes including, handmade pasta, bread and cheese, perfectly matched with the island’s fresh seafood and local produce.
