Rewa to be in top form against AS Pirae – Coach

Rewa’s head coach Roderick Singh has stressed the importance of being in top form to match the well-organised play of AS Pirae in the OFC Men’s Champions league Semifinal.

“AS Pirae is a quality side, they know what they are doing, everything they do is well planned and for us to play them is a great opportunity to test me as a coach, to test the team as a district and also we have to be in top form to match them,” said coach.

The team is currently focusing on strengthening their defense to ensure they are prepared for the semifinal battle.

However, there are concerns regarding player fitness; particularly, Inosi Matanisiga who is battling a knee injury that might affect his play.

The Delta Tigers will face AS Pirae today at 4pm in the second semifinal match.
