Roy Krishna’s Bengaluru FC have moved a place up and are now ranked eighth in the Indian Super League after beating NorthEast United FC 2-1 for the second time this season.
Captain Sunil Chhetri was on the bench for Bengaluru FC, with Krishna leading the line alongside Sivasakthi Narayanan.
After a goal-less first half, Parag Srivas set up Sivasakthi to score the opener for the visitors in the 50th minute.
Romain Philippoteaux leveled the scores for Northeast United 15 minutes later before the match winner for Bengaluru FC came from the head of central defender Alan Costa deep in injury time.
