Fiji thrashes France in Cape Town opener

The Fiji men’s 7s team started its campaign in Cape Town this morning with an impressive 33-0 win over France.

Lanky Joseva Talacolo, playmaker Pilipo Bukayaro and Captain Waisea Nacuqu’s tries gave Fiji a 21-0 halftime lead.

Talacolo and replacement playmaker Iowane Raturaciri scored two more tries in the second half to seal the big win.

Fiji plays South Africa next at 9.19pm today.
