Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Commodore Humphrey Tawake has cleared the rumour that former Fijiana 15s and Fijiana Drua head coach Senirusi Seruvakula is no longer part of the union.
Tawake said while rumours state that Seruvakula had left Fiji Rugby, that was not the case and that he was still very much involved at Rugby House.
“Senirusi has resigned only as the Fijiana head coach but he is still very much an employee of the FRU,” confirmed Tawake.
Tawake said retaining and maintaining top-notch home-grown talent was a point high up on the FRU’s table.
“We try to keep the local talents that we have, and he has created his own legacy.
“Now the process to select and announce the new head coach is in progress. It has been advertised and we will await the process to take its course.”
