Injera and Nadruku inducted in Walk of Fame

Kenya 7s star Collins Injera and former Fiji Bati and Canberra Raiders flyer Noa Nadruku were inducted into the Rugby Town Walk of Fame in Sigatoka yesterday.

Marking their names in history, the McDonald Coral Coast Sevens chief guests were engraved in history and acknowledged for their past accolades on the rugby pitch in their respective codes.

“It is an honour to to have these legends etched among the few greats that have gone before them,” said tournament director and founder Jay Whyte.

Injera said it was an honour to have his plaque among so many greats.

“To come to Fiji to be recognised for acheivements done on the rugby pitch is humbling and will be an unforgettable moment.

The humble Nadruku also offered similar sentiments.

Former Wallabies flyer and Inductee number seven Lote Tuqiri was also present during the event.
