Former Suva Grammar School student Fane Sauvakacolo currently ranks 36th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the USA.
Sauvakacolo who continues her athletics prowess with Dakota State University impressed during the San Diego State Universities D2 Invitational yesterday.
Sauvakacolo took first place and clocked a time of 9.10 seconds in the women’s 60 metre hurdle event.
Her time also places her in DSU history books as the fourth all best time ever in the event.
