Former Minister for Defence and Fiji’s climate champion, Inia Seruiratu was this morning elected the Leader of Opposition by Parliament.
Seruiratu’s name was moved and nominated by Opposition Whip Alvick Maharaj and seconded by Opposition MP Aliki Bia.
He replaces former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama who resigned from Parliament earlier this month.
