The Kaiviti Silktails will host the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in their first home game of the 2023 Ron Massey Cup season.
This will be the first of eight games the Silktails will play at home this year.
Head Coach Wes Naiqama said it was an exciting forecast to be able to have his team play back home.
“It is great for the club,” Naiqama told FijiLive.
“Because of COVID-19 and for the last two seasons we have had to relocate to Australia, which is a big sacrifice for the boys to be away from home.
“Now it is back to how it was going to be, so we are based in Lautoka which has been great and it will be a good opportunity for the boys to play in front of their friends and families.”
The Silktails will face Penrith Brothers in Sydney in the opening round of the Ron Massey Cup on March 19 before returning to host the Bulldogs at Churchill Park in Lautoka on March 25.
