Singh lauds Rewa’s effort and accomplishment

Rewa’s head coach Roderick Singh commended his team’s effort for their historic campaign in the OFC Men’s Champions League in Tahiti.

The Delta Tigers performed well throughout the tournament and competed strongly against formidable teams like Auckland City and Hekari United.

Unfortunately, their campaign ended in a dramatic extra-time semifinal, where they lost 4-2 to the home team, AS Pirae.

Singh expressed his appreciation for his team’s hard work and dedication through out the tournament:

“A good amount of effort was put in by the players; I’d like to thank all the players for everything they have done,” he said.

He also extended his gratitude towards the fans for their overwhelming support throughout the tournament.

“We’d like to thank every individual fan who has cheered for us, made videos to wish us, and thank you to all the districts that have supported us.”

Despite not securing a spot in the finals, Singh remains positive about the future.

“Unfortunately, we could not make it to the finals, but the fact that we managed to reach the semifinals is a significant achievement. We will surely be here next time again, 100%,” he confidently stated.
