The Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) will partner with the People’s Alliance and the National Federation Party to form Fiji’s new Government.
This is after 13 members of the Management Board today voted in favour of the PA/NFP coalition while 12 voted for FijiFirst Party and one vote was declared invalid as the voter’s intention could not be determined.
While making the announcement at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva this evening, Party Leader Viliame Gavoka said all processes were fully observed during the meeting and voting process.
He said democracy has won and they went into the meeting fully committed to ensure they have the best for the country.
