2023 will be a big year for Drua fans

Fijian Drua Chief Executive Mark Evans says next year will be a big year for all their fans who will get to cheer their favourite team in person at the Shop N Save Super Rugby home games.

“It is the first year that we will have nearly all our home games in Fiji,” Evans said.

Evans believes keeping fans happy was the best way to keep the Fijian Drua franchise moving.

“It’s always easier to keep a fan, rather than have to find new ones, as it is always better to renew with partners who supported the club and have a long-term relationship.

Meanwhile, the Fijian Drua alongside hardware giants Vinod Patel and home furnishing retailer Home & Living renewed a fresh two-year deal at Vinod Patel Complex in Laucala Beach today.

The sponsorship will see both brands feature the goal-post pads for all Drua matches in Fiji.

Home & Living also continued its support for Drua players with the Hoover Player of the Match award through its brand Hoover to be given out after every game throughout the 2023-24 season.

The player of the match will receive a $500 Home & Living Shopping voucher after every game.

The Drua play their first game against Moana Pasifika at Smart Stadium in Auckland on February 24 next year.
