Fiji 7s veteran Jerry Tuwai will return to the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series after being named in the 14-man squad for the Hamilton and Sydney 7s.
The dual Olympic gold medalist is expected to reignite Fiji’s attack on the world stage after a slow start to the series at the end of last year.
“It is an honour to come-back, it has been awhile, but I am ready,” Tuwai said.
Tuwai said the team is focused on getting Fiji a medal in the next leg.
“It won’t be easy but we have a target, and the boys will give their all to achieve that.”
Meanwhile Police forward Josese Batirerega will make his debut in Hamilton and Sydney.
