Former Fiji national athlete and sports administrator Calvin Yee has been appointed the Chef de Mission for Team Fiji to this year’s Commonwealth Youth Games.
Yee who represented Fiji in athletics between 1988 to 1995 before turning to administration and coaching responsibilities was confirmed as CDM for the Youth Games at FASANOC House today in Suva.
Yee said Team Fiji was currently preparing well towards participating in its seventh Commonwealth Youth Games.
Fiji has tallied nine medals so far in the last six competitions.
The games will be held in Trinidad and Tobago between August 4-11.
