Brothers score in Bas VPL win

Brothers Malakai Tiwa and Samuela Nabenia scored a goal in each half as Ba escaped with a 2-1 victory over Nadroga in a Vodafone Premier League fixture at Lawaqa Park today.

Ba led 1-0 at halftime with a goal to Tiwa but Nadroga managed to level scores in the second half via a beautiful strike from Sakenasa Rakeria.

With scores locked 1-1 the match became exciting as both teams toiled hard for the winner and Ba managed to find the back of the net through Fiji Olympic team rep Nabenia for the important victory.

The win moves Ba to the third spot equal with Nadi on 7 points after four matches and a goal difference of +2 while Nadroga remains win-less after six matches.
