Qase, Jese to miss Dreketi clash

Star striker Napolioni Qasevakatini and top defender Ilimotama Jese will miss Nadi’s Vodafone Premier League clash against Dreketi tomorrow.

The pair has two bookings to their names and will need to miss a game. They however will be back to face Labasa on Sunday.

The Jetsetters will also miss key marksman Anish Khem who is injured and will not travel with the team to Vanua Levu.

Nadi President Navneeda Goundar told FijiLive that both matches are crucial for them and they hope to bounce back after losing 1-0 to Rewa last weekend.

“Both games will be tough as we are playing in Labasa. Both Labasa and Dreketi will have the home ground advantage and both teams have done well recently. We played Dreketi in BOG and everybody knows how tough they were.”

“We will miss the three top players and William Valentine also remains doubtful as he is also carrying an injury.”

“Our Fiji U20 players like Mataiasi Toma, Patrick Joseph, Alfaaz Ali and Mataiasi Toma are back and they should provide the coaching panel with more options in terms of player availability for the two matches,” added Goundar.

Jacks Nadi faces Dreketi at 5.30pm tomorrow and comes up against Labasa at 1pm on Sunday.
