Champs Ba thump Dreketi

Ba registered its first win of the 2016 Courts Inter District Championship (IDC) at ANZ Stadium in Suva today, thumping Dreketi 4-0.

The Men In Black were ruthless from the opening whistle and went up in the 4th minute through a Malakai Tiwa header.

Lanky Saula Waqa doubled their scores in the 19th minute and striker Samuela Nabenia increased their lead further in the 42nd minute.

Ba led 3-0 at the break and replacement striker Maciu Dunadamu scored a screamer in the 74th minute to seal the big win.

The win temporarily puts Ba to the top of the standings in Group B with four points.

Ba plays Nadi in its final match at 5pm tomorrow while Dreketi will face Rewa at 1pm.
