Bureta qualifies for NCC semis

Suva’s Bureta FC has booked its spot in Monday’s Vodafone National Club Championship semifinals after registering a 2-0 win over Ba’s Nailaga FC in its second match at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba today.

Bureta earlier in the day won by default over Nadroga’s Green Star FC.

Bureta FC with the likes of Tevita Koroi, Tomasi Uculoa, Sahil Dave, Poasa Bainivalu, Madhavan Goundar, Waisake Navunigasau and Sairusi Nalaubu top Group B with 6 maximum points.

In other matches played today, defending champion 4R Electric FC defeated Suva's Civic FC 2-1, Press FC of Lautoka defeated Tailevu Naitasiri’s Lokia FC 2-0 while last year’s runners up FC City United of Lautoka played to a 2-2 draw against Nadi’s Gandhi FC and Lokia FC defeated Agriculture FC 2-1.
