VPL to commence next weekend

The 2017 Vodafone Premier League will commence next weekend.

Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal while confirming this said matches will kick off on January 28 and the fixtures of the opening round will be approved by the National League Board during its meeting this Sunday in Nadi.

He also stated that the 2017 Vodafone Premier League will be officially launched on Friday, January 27 at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Suva.

Ba won the 2016 edition of the VPL while Rewa finished second. Both districts will represent Fiji in the upcoming OFC Champions League.
