Ba wins Women's Senior League

Ba lifted the Vodafone Women's Senior League title in the weekend after beating Rewa and Labasa in the final playoff at the Fiji FA Academy.

The Naomi Cavanisiga coached side had to come from behind twice to beat Labasa 3-2 in a nail biting clash on Sunday to clinch the title after beating Rewa convincingly 3-0 earlier.

Ba, Rewa and Labasa reached the finals after topping the respective zones and played on a round robin basis to determine the winner of the competition.

Ba received $1500 and the winner's trophy while Labasa received $750 and the runners up trophy and Rewa walked away with $500.
