Ba's Waqa finishes as VPL's top scorer

Former OFC Champions League Golden Boot winner, Saula Waqa of Ba finished the 2017 Vodafone Premier League on a high after netting 10 goals throughout the season.

The lanky marksman was one of the most consistent performers for the Men In Black and his contribution allowed the side to finish second in the VPL and qualify for the 2018 OFC Champions League.

Waqa was closely chased by Lautoka’s Siotame Kubu and Suva’s Ravinesh Karan Singh who both finished with a goal less.

Star Lautoka midfielder Zibraaz Sahib ended the season with 8 goals, 1 more than improving Ba utility Samuela Nabenia.

Suva’s Sairusi Nalaubu, Labasa's Christopher Wasasala and Lautoka midfielder Dave Radrigai netted five goals.

Labasa’s Ratu Apenisa Anare and Antonio Tuivuna, Ba’s Meli Codro, Rewa’s Gabirielli Matanisiga and Iosefo Verevou, Nadi’s Napolioni Qasevakatini, Ba’s Narendra Rao and Dreketi’s Vilikesa Sowani all finished with 4 goals.
