Cuvu College, Baulevu High to clash in final

Cuvu College of Nadroga and Nausori’s Baulevu High School will battle it out in the grand finale of the U19 grade of the 2017 Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) in Suva today.

Cuvu College overcame Kamil Muslim College 2-0 in the first semifinal at the Fiji FA Headquarters ground in Suva this morning while Rewa rep Rusiate Qio netted a double as Saraswati College defeated Savusavu Secondary School 2-0 in the second semifinal.

Meanwhile in the quarterfinals last night, Cuvu College defeated DAV College Suva 2-0, Kamil Muslim College sent defending champion Nukuloa College out of the tournament after Ba rep Amena Bola scored the winner in their 1-0 victory, Baulevu High School overcame Patrick Joseph’s Nadi Muslim College 2-1 while Savusavu Secondary School defeated Sri Gurunanak Khalsa College of Labasa 5-2 in penalties.

The grand finale kicks off at 1.30pm.
