Nukuloa College makes impressive start

Defending U19 champions, Nukuloa College made an impressive start in the 2017 Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) in Nausori today and defeated Sangam SKM College of Nadi 2-0 in its opening match.

The Ba based school displayed constructive football and has put on a good challenge to other teams in the tournament.

Nadi Muslim College, Vunimono High School, Vashist Muni College, Kamil Muslim College and Labasa College also registered good wins in their opening matches this morning.

Pool matches in the various grades continues at Ratu Cakobau Park Ground 1, Ground 2, Saraswati Primary School in Manoca and Pt Shreedhar College grounds.

U19: Nadi Muslim College 1-0 DAV Suva, Vunimono High School 2-0 Balata High School, Vashist Muni College 3-1 Natabua High School, Kamil Muslim College 4-0 Sigatoka Methodist College, Cuvu College 1-1  Lautoka Central College, Labasa College 2-0 Tavua College, Nukuloa College 2-0 Sangam SSKM College, Savusavu Secondary 1-0 Gospel High School.

U17: Vashist Muni College 1-0 Seaqaqa Central College, Kamil Muslim College 1-0 Nadi Muslim College.

Girls: Xavier College 5-0 Andra College, Savusavu Secondary 2-1 Kamil Muslim College, Sigatoka Methodist High School 3-0 Nasinu Secondary, Swami Vivekananda College 0-0 Tailevu North College, AD Patel College 6-0 Vunimono High School.
