Champs Nadi, Lautoka to set Pacific Cup alight

Defending champion Nadi and Lautoka will clash in the feature Day 1 match of the 2017 Pacific Cup in Auckland tonight.

The two top Fijian districts are expected to field their best lineups in the match with former national rep Anand Sami being in charge of the coaching duties for the Jetsetters.

Kamal Swamy coached Lautoka on the other hand will field a star-studded lineup and is expected to use an attacking formation- using three strikers upfront.

The Rams Cleaning sponsored Pacific Cup which is co-sponsored by Lal’s Transport and Valentine’s Buffet Restaurant kicks off at Bill McKinley Park in Panmure at  5.45pm with NZFFI Manukau All Stars facing NZFFI Auckland All Stars in the opening match.

2016 IDC champion Labasa will take on NZFFI Northshore All Stars at 6.55pm, Rewa will take on USA All Stars at 8.05pm and Lautoka and Nadi will battle it out at 9.15pm.
