Fiji Bati through to RLWC quarters

The Vodafone Fiji Bati side has progressed to the quarterfinals of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup  after beating Italy 38-10 in Canberra last night.

The Kevin Naiqama skippered tops its pool and will meet the second best team in Pool B.

New Zealand and Tonga will battle in the top of the group clash in Pool B today at 4.45pm and the loser of this match will meet the Fijians in the quarterfinals.

Fiji led 12-4 at halftime.

Top winger Suliasi Vunivalu grabbed a hat-trick of tries in the match to take his scoring tally to 8 tries in the World Cup.

Captain Naiqama, Henry Raiwalui, Brayden Wiliame and Marcelo Montoya also got on the score-sheet.
