Fiji faces Cooks in Oceania 7s quarters

Defending champion Fiji will meet Cook Islands in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Oceania 7s Championship in Suva today.

The Jerry Tuwai skippered side defeated American Samoa 24-5 in its last pool match last night to top its group.

Australia, New Zealand and Samoa also topped their respective pools.

In the quarters today, Australia will face Papua New Guinea at 11am, New Zealand will come up against American Samoa at 11.20am, Samoa and Tonga will battle it out at 11.40am while Fiji will take on the Cook Islands at midday.

The Men’s semifinals will commence at 3pm and the grand final is scheduled to commence at 6.46pm.
