Flying Fijians narrowly beaten by Ireland

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians narrowly lost 23-20 to Ireland in their second November tour test in Dublin this morning.

After losing 19-10 to Italy last weekend, the John McKee said lifted its performance and display a much better show against the high flying Irish.

Halfback Henry Seniloli and winger Timoci Nagusa scored the tries for Fiji while fly-half Ben Volavola kicked two penalties and successfully converted both tries.

Darren Sweetnam, Dave Kearney and Jack Conan scored the tries for the hosts while Ian Keatley’s two late penalties sealed the win.

The Flying Fijians will face Canada in their final match of the tour on Sunday in France.
