Navua aims to qualify for BOG semifinal

Navua has set its sights on qualifying for the semifinals of the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants in after toppling host Lautoka 3-1 on Saturday.

Coach Mohammed Shafil said the morale boosting win has certainly lifted their spirits and players should take on Rewa with a lot of confidence on Sunday.

“We were given very little chance after our loss to Nadi but the boys proved everyone wrong with our performance against Lautoka and we hope to maintain this good run against Rewa.”

“We now want to play in the semifinal and will treat our game against Rewa like a final. The boys will rest for now and then start fresh and the good thing is that we do not have any major injury concerns.”

Koromakawa Rentals and Tours sponsored-Navua will take on Delta One Auto Repairs sponsored- Rewa at 12pm.
