Qasevakatini to return against Suva

Top Nadi marksman Napolioni Qasevakatini has recovered from a groin injury and is expected to start the second semifinal of the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants against Suva on Saturday.

Qasevakatini picked up the injury in their 4-1 win over Navua last Friday and was rested in the games against Rewa and Lautoka.

Coach Kamal Swamy said Qasevakatini is doing light training at the moment but should return to full fitness by the end of the week.

He said lanky striker Rusiate Matarerega has also fully recovered from a hamstring pull and will be a key starter upfront for the jetsetters.
