Teenagers in BOG impress Serritslev

National  Coach Flemming Serritslev was impressed with the performance of some teenagers who featured in the group stages of the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants in Lautoka.

The former Danish national mentor sid the youngsters showed good skills, speed and had the urge and dedication.

"It was really good to see some young players giving their best. There were 17, 18 and 19 year olds in some teams. Some played extremely well and also scored goals."

"These players are our stars of the future and tournaments like the BOG gives them the platform to show their talent and impress the selectors. I am happy with the level of football shown in BOG and the pressure games should come during the semifinals," he said.

Some players who impressed Serritslev include Ba goalkeeper Isikeli Sevanaia, Navua's Thomas Dunn, Suva's Simione Nabenu, Rewa's Josaia Sela and Labasa's Melvin Mani.
