Nacuqu conversion puts Fiji Shadow in final

A successful conversion by Waisea Nacuqu  just before fulltime saw Fiji Shadow beat a spirited Raiwasa Taveuni outfit 14-12 in the second semifinal of the 45th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

Forward Rusiate Rawaisau scored first for Raiwasa Taveuni but minutes later Meli Derenalagi scored for the Fiji Shadow and Nacuqu converted to give them a 7-5 lead.

Peni Ravulo's try early in the second half put Taveuni ahead again before Jerry Tuwai scored for Fiji Shadow and it was all left to Nacuqu to snatch the win through his conversion.
