Police Blue books spot in Cup Quarters

Police Blue thumped Hydro 19-0 in their elimination match of the 45th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today to book a spot in the Cup quarterfinals.

A yellow card to Simione Drotini early in the match affected Hydro's performance as they allowed Police to score two tries through Suliano Volivolo and Joseva Kuricuva to lead 12-0 at halftime.

A late charge by Eparama Daveta in the second half saw Hydro again play with only six players and Inia Rokomatu took full advantage of the situation and scored the third and final try for Police which was successfully converted by Terio Tamani.
