Win- a Palm Sunday gift for children: Masi

Rising Fiji 7s forward Iosefo Masi dedicated their victory in the 45th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s to children who will be celebrating Palm Sunday.

The 22-year-old who starred for Tabadamu in last year's final, was a key member of Gareth Baber's Fiji Shadow which thumped the defending champions 31-14 in the final.

Masi said children are the future of the country and the win is for them.

"We want to dedicate this win to all the children of Fiji because tomorrow is Sunday and our children will celebrate Palm Sunday. We want to see them succeed in life and never lose hope."

"There is no better way then to dedicate this win to them knowing tomorrow is the day when Jesus' triumphantly entered Jerusalem as a hope and this relates to our kids who are our hope and light."

Masi said he would celebrate the win with his team mates and family in Church.
