Votoniu and Tawake to miss Rewa clash

Nadi will miss the services of top defender Ame Votoniu and utility Josua Tawake when they meet Rewa in the next round of the Digicel Premier League.

Esy Kool Nadi Coach Shalen Lal said the two players are serving suspension.

Votoniu has two yellow cards to his name was Tawake was red-carded against Navua in their 2-2 draw in Round 6.

Lal said there are other players in the team who sustained injuries and could possibly need more time to recover.

This includes Captain Napolioni Qasevakatini who has a pull muscle while defender Vuniuci Tikomaimereke is carrying a shoulder injury.

Nadi is currently fourth in the standing with 9 points from two wins, 3 draws and a loss.
